The court papers reportedly granted the couple a divorce on May 26. The court is expected to finalize the decision on the matter of custody in relation to their four-year-old daughter. While Shannahann’s divorce filings claim Musk’s support is necessary for her livelihood, both parties have agreed to keep the details of their assets and other related issues confidential.
The alleged affair between Musk and Shannahann has been ongoing since 2021, which reportedly led to a strained relationship between Musk and Brin. The tension between the two escalated in January 2022 when Musk filed a request for a protective order against Brin. The deepening disagreements resulted in public statements and stories about the situation. The recent tweets from Musk on July 25 on Twitter mentioned his friendship with Sergey and denied any physical relationship between him and Nicole.
Musk’s presence on the list of people who have accessed Tesla’s cars is public knowledge as he was given one as compensation during the financial crisis in 2008. Furthermore, reports in the past have suggested Musk loaned $5 million to Tesla, his company, at one point.
