Jeep Introduces New Models of Compass SUV

Jeep, the renowned car manufacturing company, has recently unveiled three new models of its Compass SUV: the 4×2 variant, the Black Shark Edition, and the New Compass. The 4×2 variant of the Compass SUV comes with an automatic transmission option. It is priced at Rs. 20.49 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the top-end model with automatic transmission, and Rs. 23.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the entry-level model.
The new Jeep Compass 2WD Red Black Edition is equipped with a 2.0-liter diesel engine and a 9-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers a power of 168 bhp and a torque of 350 Nm. The new Compass Diesel provides a mileage of 16.2 km/l. It can reach a speed of 100 km/h in just 9.8 seconds.
The lower variant of the Compass SUV now also offers an automatic transmission option, making it more affordable with a 20% lower price compared to the previous model. The entry-level variant is priced at Rs. 6 lakhs. However, it should be noted that the entry-level variant of the Compass SUV is not available in the Indian market.
Jeep has also introduced the Overland Edition of the Compass SUV, which includes three special editions: the Meridian Up Land, the Meridian X model, and the Meridian SUV. The Meridian Overland Edition offers cosmetic updates such as a new grille with chrome surrounds and redesigned alloy wheels.
Overall, the introduction of these new models is expected to attract more buyers to the Jeep Compass SUV range. These models offer a range of options and features to suit different preferences and budgets.
